Terms of service

HOA Board Studio generates draft communications for homeowners associations. By using it you agree to these terms.

Not legal advice

Documents produced here are drafts for your board's review. We are not a law firm, no attorney-client relationship is created, and nothing generated constitutes legal advice. Your governing documents, state law, and your association's attorney control. You are responsible for reviewing every document — including bracketed placeholders — before sending it.

Your account & content

You keep all rights to the information you enter and the documents you generate. We process your inputs through OpenAI's API to draft documents; we don't sell your data or use your documents to market to your homeowners.

Billing

The Board plan is $19/month or $190/year, billed by Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record). Cancel anytime from your billing page; paid features continue to the end of the paid period. Monthly generation limits exist to prevent abuse and are far above normal board use.

Fair use & availability

Don't use the service to harass, discriminate, or violate the law; we may suspend accounts that do. The service is provided "as is" without warranties; our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Privacy

We collect what the product needs to run, and no more:

• Account: your email address, for sign-in links and receipts.
• Your content: association profiles and documents you generate, stored so your archive works.
• Generation:form inputs are sent to OpenAI to draft your documents, subject to OpenAI's API data policies (API inputs are not used to train their models).
• Analytics: first-party, cookie-light page counts (path, referrer, campaign). No third-party ad trackers, no data brokers.
• Payments: handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy; we never see card numbers.

Delete your account by emailing support and we'll remove your data within 30 days. Questions: support@hoaboardstudio.com.
